COLOR CAN VARY between a Rubbed Black and Dark Brown, which means that it is a dark metal, with a black or very dark brown finish that has been rubbed off in various spaces to show the natural metal underneath. Some metal may have a more brown tone and some a black tone but the overall appearance of the shelf is black dark brown  .
