Sophie Rug

The Sophie Rug is an indoor/outdoor rug in white and anthracite, machine-made in Turkey from 95% polypropylene and 5% polyester with a polypropylene backing. It is a rectangle with a low 0.35-inch pile, and it comes in two sizes: 3' x 5' and 7'6" x 9'5". Use it in a kitchen, an entry, or on a covered porch, anywhere a rug has to stand up to daily use and the weather.

The 3' x 5' is the right size in front of a kitchen sink or just inside the back door. The 7'6" x 9'5" can anchor an outdoor dining set or a patio seating area, with the chair legs resting on the rug. The white and anthracite pairing reads modern, so let it sit with black metal, pale wood, and a few green plants.
