These apples are great--heavy and substantial. I bought both sizes and love them both. The large is much bigger than I expected. I'm not sure where I'll use it yet. The small, I've placed next to my Sage in Cement Pot. It looks great there. I don't think these are Paper Mache at all, except for maybe on the surface, because they are so heavy. I was impressed when I got them in. I love them and I'm glad I got both sizes! Another great purchase from ID!!
