These rectangular candle holders can be used either way. You can flip them upside down and have your candle ring near the table or stand them upright and use them as risers to add height.
The items I ordered are absolutely gorgeous. The distressed holders are beautiful paired with the 12" Blue Splash Eucalyptus I also ordered to go with them. I had two items in my order that came damaged and not only were they quick in their response, the issue was resolved immediately.
